Nice shop, friendly staff, good coffee! I tried the Einspänner and the Butterscotch Latte. Both really great, the butterscotch latte tasted like butterscotch icecream. They have alternative milk options too if you prefer non-dairy. Definitely coming back!

I drove 35 minutes from Burbank, and got me and my boyfriend into a 4 car pileup on the 134 freeway. I was very upset, but after ordering the matcha rain I completely forgot about the tragedy 15 minutes earlier. It was so good!! My boyfriend got the Einspänner and he enjoyed it. Definitely a unique touch if you’re in Pasadena and looking for good coffee. Needless to say I’m letting my boyfriend drive next time!

Good coffee and pastries. Friendly staff. Atmosphere would have been good too, but the floor was very dirty below the table I had to sit at since the place was quite busy that morning. It was around 9am, and the floor was not cleaned the night before? In spite of that, I'd visit Danbi again.

I didn’t get food, my friend ordered my coffee- so I can’t speak to that. The atmosphere was pretty loud, you can hear everyone’s conversations in a muffled manner. Too loud for myself as an introvert. However, this is probably one of my top three coffees ever! Presentation, texture, and taste!

Best matcha in the neighborhood! We always get the matcha rain and coffee, both are super delicious! The vibe is really nice and bright with lots of seating. If you go on the weekend there might be a massive line but during the week it's not too bad 😁

Great to have this kind of Einspanner/matcha cafe in Pasadena! The Einspanner was really good. You can tell there’s quality here. Nice open space with a lot of two-seater tables (can probably be pushed together for larger groups). Even some outdoor seating, which work well with the more relaxed Green St. This cafe will definitely be in my rotation for Pasadena cafes!

Amzaing coffee and customer service! This is the best Einspanner I’ve ever had and Matcha Cloud is top notch as well. You can tell the quality of the drinks and how much care the staff puts into creating them. Will definitely be coming back here when I’m in the area.

Pro tip: come early because this is popular so it can get packed. We ordered the matcha rain and Einspanner 10/10 for both drinks! The flavor and caffeine intake is on point Would come back!

Danbi matcha actually transformed me. we got the matcha rain and the banana cream matcha half sweetness as a matcha connoisseur who has been drinking matcha for 4 years and have explored matcha cafes in phoenix Boston Shanghai New York Hangzhou Hong Kong I have never had matcha quite like this. The matcha was very smooth and the cream did not overpower the matcha whereas most places struggle with this issue. The matcha stood out in my mouth creating a very explosive experience. Leaving the place left me in tears I genuinely considered maybe LA is the place for me to be near this place

Full of light and seating, this coffee place is a great place to chill with friends, grab a coffee and pastry, or do some work with sweet snacks on the side. I got an earl grey scone and an einspanner to go. It was near 6pm and they have pastries 50% off after 5pm, which is pretty cool. The scone was crumbly and had subtle hints of earl grey flavor. A cute spot to stop by!
